Businesses increase spending on employee wellness

These efforts focus on building a workforce with greater knowledge on what constitutes a healthy lifestyle, and promote enhanced access to tools that allow them to stay on top of their own health.

According to the survey, the three most popular programs among employees are 1) biometric screenings; 2) health risk assessments; and 3) physical activity programs, which can be as simple as organizing a lunchtime walking group or forming a company team for charity walks and runs.
